Your machine is now in good hands. With hundreds of repairs on all makes and models of manual typewriters we bring new life to old machines. Our services include:

1- Spa Day

Complete cleaning, polishing, lubrication, minor adjustment and new fresh ribbon. You will be amazed when you see your machine again.  

2 - Repairs

Most of these machines were built to handle a lot of work, but like all mechanical devices they can also stop working. Line spacing issues, broken drawbands, ribbon reverse problems, keys getting stuck, type alignment, the list goes on. For the most part all of these issues can be fixed. We will be able to tell you very quickly and give you an estimate on costs and time required.

3- Restoration/Refinishing 

We also offer complete restoration / refinishing services.  If you've always wanted a yellow, red or two tone blue typewriter its available at Robot Typewriter. We've matched the colour of client's typewriter to their vintage trailer. We've made red typewriters for that special valentines or wedding present. If it's a theatre prop you need in bright purple we can do it.
